The makers of Suriya-starrer Jai Bhim had earlier announced that its teaser will be out on October 15. The one-and-a-half minute teaser has Suriya playing an honest lawyer who takes up the case of a few people from scheduled tribe after knowing that they have been facing severe oppression in the society. The movie, which will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from November 2, has Prakash Raj essaying the role of a cop and Lijomol Jose in the role of a tribal woman. Directed by Tha Se Gnanavel, Jai Bhim has music by Sean Roldan and cinematography by SR Kathir. Sean had recently provided a glimpse of the project's re-recording which was monitored by leading music conductor Matt Dunkley. Philomin Raj has edited the project which has action sequences choreographed by National Award-winning stunt masters Anbariv.

The movie, which has plenty of hard-hitting dialogues, is expected to join the list of Tamil films which touched upon the relevant issue of casteism and atrocities meted out to the downtrodden. The teaser which has a lot of hard-hitting dialogues is likely to receive appreciation from movie buffs who love issue-based films. The last dialogue 'There are big fraudsters in every caste' is celebrated by fans of the star and other film enthusiasts on social media.

Suriya released the teasers in both Tamil and Telugu languages from his Twitter account, and posted a note which read, "I strongly believe true stories can bring true changes in the society. #JaiBhim will be an intense one and is close to my heart." Apparently, the movie is based on a few true incidents which took place in the 90s, and Suriya's character is inspired by a real lawyer who fought for the justice of the downtrodden.
