Jail, Theal, Anti Indian, Murungakkai Chips and more; film releases galore in Kollywood this week

Jail

Directed by Vasantha Balan, the movie which has been in the making for a while, stars GV Prakash Kumar and Abarnathi in lead roles. Radhika Sarathkumar, Prabhakar, Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar and Pasanga Pandi among others play key roles in the movie which has music composed by GV himself. 

Ganesh Chandhrra cranks the camera for Jail which has editing by Raymond Derrick Crasta. The film touches upon the issues faced by a few people who lives in a resettlement colony. Jail will release on December 9. 

Theal

Prabhu Deva and Samyukta Hegde play lead roles in this action flick which has debutant Hari Kumar at the helm. Vignesh Vasu has handled the cinematography for the movie which has music by C Sathya and editing by Praveen KL.

Pon Parthiban has written the dialogues for the project which has stunt choreography by Anbariv. Prabhu plays the role of a ruffian in the film which has been produced by Gnanavel Raja. Theal will hit the screens on December 10.   

Anti Indian

Popular YouTuber C Elamaran aka Blue Sattai Maran is making his directorial debut with Anti Indian, which has been in the news for quite some time because of the controversies it courted. Produced by Adam Bava, the movie revolves around an unusual incident where people from three different religions fight against each other while claiming a death person's body.

Anti Indian, which has Aadukalam Naren and Radha Ravi among others in lead roles, will release on December 10.

Murungakkai Chips

Shanthnu and Athulya Ravi play leas roles in this rom-com which has been directed by debutant Srijar. The movie has Bhagyaraj, Urvashi, Mayilsamy, Manobala, Yogi Babu and Munishkanth among others essaying crucial characters in it.

Dharan Kumar has composed music for the project which has cinematography by Ramesh Chakravarthy and editing by Jomin. The film was earlier supposed to release on November 19. Murungakkai Chips will hit the screens on December 10.

IKK

Tipped as a psychological thriller, IKK has been directed by Babu Tamizh. Gavaskar Avinash has composed music for the film which has Gurusomasundaram, Yogesh and Anicka Vikhraman playing important roles. 

Radhakrishnan has cranked the camera for the film which has editing by Manikumaran Sankara. The film's story revolves around strange incidents that happen in the life of a football player. IKK will release on December 10.    

3:33

Billed as a horror thriller, 3:33 has leading dance choreographer playing the lead in it. Filmmaker Gautham Menon, too, essays a key character in the movie which has Saravanan, Rama, Reshma Pasupuleti, Mime Gopi and Shruthi Selvam playing important roles.

Harshavardhan Rameshwar has composed music for the project which has cinematography by Sathish Manoharan. Deepak S Dwaraknath has handled the film's editing while Stunner Sam has helmed action scenes. 3:33 will hit the screens on December 10.
