Jailer: FDFS timings of Rajinikanth's next with Nelson Dilipkumar are here
Rajinikanth in a still from Jailer
With less than ten days to go for the release of Superstar Rajinikanth's next, Jailer, demand for tickets is hotting up. Meanwhile, it looks like the FDFS of the film will begin only at 9am in Tamil Nadu. Though the bookings are yet to open, this seems to be the word among theatre owners and on social media. In the meantime, the neighbouring states of Kerala and Karnataka are all set to have their FDFS at 6am. In Karnataka, talks are on for the 4am show as well. The USA premiere will happen at 6am.
The news hasn't gone down well with the fans of the Superstar in TN, who are now planning to head to the neighbouring states to catch the FDFS. Memes about the same have already begun on social media.
Superstar Rajinikanth's last release Annaththe hit screens in 2021. The film, helmed by Kanguva director Siva, opened to negative reviews and didn't rake in the moolah at the box office. The Superstar didn't have any release last year.
During the film's audio launch last week, the actor had stated that after Annaththe, he listened to many scripts, but none of them impressed him. After a point of time, he even began feeling sorry for rejecting so many scripts and stopped listening to them. It was only after director Nelson Dillipkumar narrated his script that he agreed to get on board.
Jailer has an ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar (marking his debut in Tamil cinema), Jackie Shroff, Mohanlal, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Tamanaah, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Redin Kingsley, Vinayakan, Jaffer Sadiq, to name a few.
The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander marking his third collaboration with the Superstar after Petta and Darbar, and the fourth outing with Nelson Dilipkumar after Kolamavu Kokila, Don and Beast. Jailer is bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
