Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer has been crashing one record after the other at the box office. The film, helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar has set the cash registers ringing and how. Now, Vasanth Ravi, who played Rajinikanth's son Arjun Muthuvel Pandian in the film, has penned a heartfelt note on working with the Superstar.

Jailer, a milestone in Vasanth Ravi's career

Taking to his social media handle, the Asvins actor shared a lengthy statement in which he spoke about his experience in Jailer. Excerpts from the note read, "Jailer has become one of the most significant milestones in my acting career. It's so special and close to my heart for it endorsed my sheer dedication, patience, commitment, and determination that I cultivated over the years in the industry. The journey of six years has imparted to me a lot of valuable lessons and experiences became my master."

He added, "Ever since my debut in Taramani, on August 11, 2017, where Director Ram sir introduced me as Prabhunath - to this day, August 10, 2023, stepping into the role of Arjun Muthuvel Pandian, the son of the iconic Rajinikanth sir in Jailer ,feels like a surreal gift from the universe."

Thanking the team of Jailer, Vasanth Ravi wrote, "I wholeheartedly thank Director Nelson Dhilip Kumar sir for having an unfading trust in me and Thalaivar Rajinikanth sir (Appa) for his unceasing encouragement and support, since the beginning of my career. I thank Rajini Pa a lot for gifting me priceless memories. Every moment spent with him on the set, becomes an indelible memory in my life. His teachings have enriched not only my acting skills but also my understanding of humanity and life."

Jailer, which hit screens on August 10, is bankrolled by Sun Pictures and has become one of the fastest films of Rajinkanth to reach the Rs 500 crore mark. The film has been receiving steady footfalls in theatres despite a slew of new releases last week.
