The makers of Jailer announced yesterday that its trailer aka showcase will be unveiled today. Needless to say, fans of Rajinikanth were excited ever since the news was out. The two-minute promo video released some time ago has director Nelson Dilipkumar's mark written all over it.

Many opine that the character design and mannerisms of the protagonist essayed by the Superstar remind them of lead actors in the director's previous outings. Some of them are impressed with the first action moment of Rajinikanth in the trailer. They are expecting another Doctor or Kolamaavu Kokila from the filmmaker.

Unsurprisingly, Anirudh, the Thalaivar fanboy, has given his best. The movie marks his third collaboration with the Superstar, and fans are going gaga over his score. They can't wait to experience the goosebumps-inducing scenes after watching the showcase. The Hukum song, they feel, will be a huge treat to watch on the big screen.

Finally, Twitterati express excitement over Rajinikanth's subtle, yet stylish presence in the trailer. Some of them are comparing his aura in the promo video with a few of his yesteryear blockbusters. All they are hoping for now is an engaging screenplay.

Rajinikanth's scenes with Ramya Krishnan are going to be one of the highlights of Jailer, opine a few cinephiles. According to them, the duo's chemistry is still intact. They are also happy that the makers have established the nature of her character in the promo video.

However, some of the film buffs are a little upset with the makers not showcasing the glimpses of Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar and Tamannaah in the trailer. Though their roles in the movie are limited, cinephiles were excited to watch them. They seemed to have been expecting a star-studded trailer rather than an out-and-out Rajinikanth show.
