Janaki v/s State Of Kerala: Suresh Gopi-starrer courtroom drama gets a release date

The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Janaki v/s State of Kerala (J.S.K), released a motion poster today (May 28). It has also been confirmed that the movie will be having a theatrical release on June 20.

For this project, which is anticipated to be a courtroom drama, Suresh Gopi assuming the character of a lawyer. The actor narrates at the opening of the poster that our legal code outlines each citizen's fundamental rights in detail. However, not a single person in the entire country actually has a copy of it. Because those who rule here will begin to be questioned the day they do. People will learn about their rights, and the court will be their only recourse if those rights are violated," he continues. 

Additionally, it provides a glimpse of the main actors, Divya Pillai, Shruti Ramachandran, and Anupama Parameswaran. More details about the film, including a trailer, should be expected in the following days.

Two days after actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi made waves by successfully winning the 2024 Lok Sabha election in Thrissur, the film's first poster was released. ZEE5 offers streaming for the actor's most recent flicks, including Paappan and Mei Hoom Moosa. Additionally, the Apothecary star has a number of upcoming movies, such as Ottakkomban, that should be out before the end of this year.

Madhav Suresh, Askar Ali, Baiju Santhosh, Jayan Cherthala, Nisthar Seth, Shobi Thilakan, Dilip Menon, Vaishnavi Raj, Aparna, Ratheesh Krishnan, Jai Vishnu, Shafir Khan, Jose Chengannur, Yadu Krishnan, Rajat Menon, Abhishek Ravindran, Kottayam Ramesh, and Manjushree are among the film's supporting cast. J.S.K. is directed by Pravin Narayanan and is financed by Raafi Mathirra and J Phanindra Kumar under the banners of Cosmos Entertainments and Karthik Kreations. The film's screenplay has also been written by the director. The movie's soundtrack was composed by Gireesh Narayanan.
