The pre-release event of Jawan which is happening now in Chennai has been leaving fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay ecstatic for multiple reasons. The audience has been cheering whenever Vijay's name is mentioned by guests. The speculation of the star attending the event has made several fans of the Leo actor thronging to the event.

Anirudh, who is the music composer for both Jawan and Leo, also managed to entertain fans of the two stars. Moreover, the director of the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, Atlee, is a self-confessed fan of Vijay and has directed Thalapathy in three movies.

Vijay made me take up Jawan, says Atlee

The filmmaker, who is making his Hindi debut with the big-budget project, revealed that Vijay gave him the much-needed confidence to direct Jawan. This revelation sent the crowd into a tizzy. There has been speculation of Vijay playing a cameo in the film, and movie buffs are waiting to know if it is true.

Atlee further added that he was excited to pose for photos in front of SRK's house a decade ago, and it was overwhelming when the Bollywood star invited him to narrate the film's story in the same house.

Vijay was the reason behind Rajinikanth's Jailer, too

A while ago, Nelson, who directed Rajinikanth's latest super hit Jailer, revealed that it was Vijay who instilled confidence in him to take up a project starring the Tamil superstar. It was during the shooting of Beast that Thalapathy encouraged him to narrate a story to Rajinikanth.

Fans of Vijay are excited over the fact that their matinee idol has been the reason for two big projects to happen. Jailer went on to become a huge hit, and Jawan's release is just a week away.
