Jawan: Shah Rukh Khan calls Anirudh brilliant, the Leo composer expresses excitement and thanks the Pathaan star

Shah Rukh Khan, who is elated over the super success of Pathaan, has been interacting with fans on social media quite often these days. During a chat on Twitter today, one of his fans asked the star how the music of Jawan, his forthcoming movie, is shaping up and his thoughts on Anirudh, the film's composer.

The star was quick to reply that Anirudh is brilliant and that his entire team of youngsters is fun to work with. He also heaped praise on the Leo composer's energy level.

An excited Anirudh was more than happy to see SRK's tweet praising him and thanked him profusely. He also said that he can't wait for people to listen to Jawan's songs. The Atlee directorial is the young composer's debut Bollywood movie. The director, too, is making his Hindi debut with the film which will be released on June 2.

Anirudh is currently the most sought-after composer in Kollywood. After the success of songs he composed for films like Don, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Vikram and Thiruchitrambalam last year, he has Leo, Jailer and Indian 2 which are likely to hit the screens in 2023.      

Nayanthara will be seen playing the female lead in Jawan which has Vijay Sethupathi essaying the antagonist's role. A promo video of the project was unveiled a few months ago, leaving SRK fans in awe. The revenge drama is expected to further elevate the star's box office performance.

Meanwhile, Pathaan has smashed the records of Dangal and PK among others movies to emerge as the numero uno Hindi film in India. The spy thriller is expected to join the prestigious 1,000 crore club soon.
