Jayam Ravi's Iraivan team dropped a brand new promo from the film today titled world of Iraivan and it's not for the faint-hearted. The film, directed by Ahmed, stars Rahul Bose as a brutal psychopath killer, who leaves a smiley written in blood after all the killings.
World of Iraivan
The new video provides a glimpse of 'Smiley Killer' Bramma's (Rahul Bose) modus operandi and how he goes after his victims. Jayam Ravi plays top cop Arjun, who is on a mission to hunt down the killer, who considers himself way too intelligent. When Bramma, who has been under observation by a team of psychologists flees the precinct, things go awry. Arjun and his team leave no stone unturned to nab the man, who has been giving the cops a run for their money.
The film has many gory scenes and brutal killings, which is not advisable for children and for the faint-hearted, which is exactly why the film has been given an 'A' certificate. Jayam Ravi himself had confessed that the team didn't want to hide anything from anyone and also asked children to steer clear of the film. He added that for the family audience, there's his upcoming film, Brother.
Second collaboration of Jayaram Ravi with Nayanthara, and the film's director Ahmed
While the actor-director duo had earlier worked together in a film titled Jana Gana Mana, which is billed as spy thriller and is lying in the cans, Iraivan also marks Jayam Ravi's second film with Nayanthara, with whom he shared screen space earlier in Thani Oruvan.
