Jerry theatrical release date - This Kottayam Nazeer-starrer family entertainer is slated to come out on THIS day

Malayalam film Jerry is all set to hit the big screen on February 9, along with Tovino Thomas’ investigative thriller Anweshippin Kandethum and Naslen’s rom-com Premalu.

A glimpse of the plot is provided by the trailer, which was released on February 3. The trailer shows the lives of two families caught up in the mischievous mouse's antics, which result in nonstop chaos and humour. Additionally, it promises some amazing performances by some young actors in Mollywood.

Many shared their anticipation for the family entertainer, expecting the film to create an impression despite being released along with a highly anticipated film like Anweshippin Kandethum. Some have also applauded the makers for bringing in an interesting narrative.

The song ‘Kalapila’, which was out last week, garnered good reception from viewers, hinting at a fun watch for this weekend. It depicted villagers chasing after a rat, opting for various methods to get rid of it.

This film takes viewers on a hilarious journey and showcases the humorous problems caused by a rat and how the entire village gets tangled in capturing this creature. It also draws inspiration from the well-known animated series Tom and Jerry, naming the rat after a character in this cartoon.

Jerry promises to provide a novel spin on family entertainment in Malayalam cinema, despite the film's lacklustre promotional activities, thanks to its captivating fusion of humour and inventiveness.

Cast and crew of Jerry

Kumar Sethu, Kottayam Nazeer, and Pramod Velliyanad are playing lead roles in Jerry. Anish Uday has directed this film. The screenplay for Jerry has been penned by Najil C Manuel. Nismal Noushad has helmed the camera work for the movie, while Rohit V S Variyath is the editor. The soundtracks for Jerry have been composed by Attention Please-fame Arun Vijay. Pradeep M V is the art director.

Jaison and Joyson have bankrolled the movie under the banner of J Cinema Company. The audio rights of Jerry have been bagged by Saregama India Limited.
