Actress Jhanvi Kapoor in the first episode of the popular Discovery+ celebrity interaction show Star vs Food recounted several tales from her childhood about the Kapoor household. The 24-year-old Dhadak actress revealed in the show: “In our household, if you can’t take spice, then you are not a Kapoor, and you get shamed for life, and you sit on a separate table.” She later added that even though it is not a strict rule, you get trolled in the Kapoor household if you hesitate to have spice.
The second season of the show, in collaboration with Korea Tourism Organisation, features prominent celebrities cooking with an expert Korean Chef. Jhanvi comes in a pink playsuit, all excited to learn a new Korean dish for her friends. She is seen in a jovial mood, recounting several embarrassing tales from her childhood and imitating internet cooking sensation Salt Bae’s signature salt-sprinkling style.
The first season gained popularity with the appearances of actors and celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karan Johar, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor and Pratik Gandhi. The second season features Jhanvi Kapoor’s uncle Anil Kapoor along with other guests including Ananya Panday, Badshah and Zakir Khan.

The actress is currently filming for Dostana 2, in which she will be seen alongside Akshay Kumar and Laksh Lalwani.
