Jigarthanda Double X Twitter Review: Fans call the film the ultimate comeback for Karthik Subbaraj

It looks like Karthik Subbaraj's latest outing Jigarthanda Double X has opened to positive reviews from critics and audience alike. The film stars SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence in the lead and marks their maiden collaboration.

The film has received a huge thumbs up from the audience. SJ Suryah today dropped a video of a movie hall packed with audience and captioned it, "What a response hearing the same response from all over the world thank you thank you (sic)." In the video, he is seen along with his counterpart Raghava Lawrence even as they pose along with the fans.

Many have called the film a true blockbuster in every sense and called the film a fantastic comeback of Karthik Subbaraj, who is witnessing a theatrical release after a span of four years.

Earlier in the day, Subbaraj wrote on his social media handle, "#JigarthandaDoublex - Is all yours now.... God's best gifts to us are Elephants & Cinema !! This film is our team's heartfelt portrayal of the 'Power' of Cinema and it's Audience...... Hope you all Love the film as much as we did while making it..... Am Emotionally Happy to be back in theatres after 4.5 years..... Please watch the film in theatres and Kindly don't reveal the small surprises in it (sic)."

Cast and crew
Apart from SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence, the film stars Nimisha Sajayan, Shine Tom Chacko, Sathyan, Aravind Akash, Ilavarasu and Bava Chelladurai. While Santhosh Narayanan has scored the music, cinematography is by Thirunavukkarasu and editing by Shafique Mohamed Ali.
