Bollywood actor John Abraham is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action entertainer titled Attack. The actor has been busy in the promotions of Attack and he recently shot for an episode with Kapil Sharma for his popular TV reality show - The Kapil Sharma Show.
In his recent interaction with Anmol Jamwal's YouTube Channel Tried and Refused Productions, John revealed that there have been times when he's been made a fool of by directors who told him that they've made a good film when the movie was actually crap. John was discussing about what makes Attack his absolute passion project and didn't mince his words while speaking about some of his franchise films which did not work,
John had probably shot for The Kapil Sharma Show a day before. Sharing an incident from the sets, the actor said, "Yesterday Kapil Sharma is saying (to me) 'Aapke sath kisi ne April Fool khela hai?' So I told him after the show, 'Haan, directors ne khela hai mere sath. Unhone mujhe fool kiya hai (laughs), bola hai achhi film banayi hai, phir kya banaya un logo ne."
John further added that it is very important to call a spade, a spade and shared that an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show doesn't translate into footfalls at the ticket windows and the biggest example of the same is the recently released film The Kashmir Films. He hoped that the audience gives an opportunity to a film like Attack so that people stop belting out mediocre projects in the name of cinema.
Meanwhile, right after Attack, John will go back to shoot for the remaining portions of Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. The actor was to complete its shoot in December, but now he's looking to finish it by the end of April.
Also starring Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez, Attach is directed by Lakshya Raj Anand is is all set to hit the theatres on April 1.
