Ever since music director Ghibran has revealed that he is composing the first single Chilla Chilla from Thunivu along with lyricist Vaisagh and singer Anirudh, fans of Ajith have been eagerly looking forward to it. The makers are yet to announce the date on which the peppy song will be unveiled.

While talking at the pre-release event of another movie, Ghibran recently said that the much-awaited track will be a "mass" number which will have ample aspects for Ajith fans to enjoy. The makers are yet to come up with the release date of the movie as well.

Actor John Kokken, who plays a key role in the heist drama, has now revealed an update, leaving fans heave a sigh of relief. The Sarpatta Parambarai star has informed that he has completed dubbing for the project, and expressed happiness on lending voice in Tamil for the first time.

He's also elated at having essayed a notable role alongside Ajith in Thunivu and feels that he couldn’t have asked for anything better. The model-turned-actor also posted a few stills from the dubbing session. One of the pictures has him posing together for a photo with director H Vinoth.

Thunivu is set for a huge release during the Pongal festival across Tamil Nadu. The movie bankrolled by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios will have a box office clash with Vijay's Varisu. Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies and Netflix have bagged the film's theatrical and digital rights respectively.

Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, Prem Kumar and Kavin play important characters in the project which marks the third collaboration of Ajith and Vinoth after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai.
