Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha trailer - Varun goes to extreme measures to save his lady love in this adrenaline-packed action drama

The long wait for the trailer for director Gautham Vasudev Menon’s racy action film Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha is finally over. The new trailer for the action drama was released by Vijay Sethupathi today (February 23). Although the first trailer for the film was released in 2021, the new trailer’s VFX and beats have made fans more eager to watch the film. The trailer begins with actress Raahei proclaiming her love for Joshua (played by Varun). In response, Varun promises her that rescuing her is his responsibility. The trailer then has a series of beat-synchronised fight sequences that are aesthetically captured.

Then it appears that a pair of goons kidnapped Raahei. Actor Krishna plays the main antagonist in the film. Although the plot of Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha is unknown, it is believed that Varun's character, a bodyguard, must look after and protect Raahei's character, a high-profile woman from London who has come to Chennai. The fast-paced and stylish trailer is certainly a lot more interesting when compared to the 2021 trailer.  

The only question that remains is whether the film will finally be released in theatres on March 1 and not have any more delays.

In a recent press release, GVM hinted that the action drama might be a part of the film universe of the Vikram-starrer Dhruva Natchathiram, which has been postponed indefinitely. All you need to know about GVM’s long-awaited action drama, Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha

The release of Gautham Vasudev Menon's Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha, initially scheduled to be released in theatres in 2020, was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Starring Bigg Boss Tamil's Varun, the action drama also stars Yogi Babu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Vichithra and Dhivyadharshini in supporting roles. The film is bankrolled by Varun’s family member, Ishari K Ganesh, under the banner of Vels Film International. Singer and composer Karthik has scored music for Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha, while the technical crew consists of cinematographer SR Kathir and editor Anthony.

The film is now slated to be released in theatres on March 1 and we are hopeful that there are no further delays.
