Jubilee promo: Sonakshi Sinha, Rajkummar Rao, Anurag Kashyap and others speak ill of Madan Kumar - Watch

Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana and Prosenjit Chatterjee starrer Jubile is the latest period drama series on Prime Vidoe. Vikramaditya Motwane-directed and created show revolves around the prominent people of the Bombay Film industry and showcases the glamour, glitz and drama as well as the reality behind them. Meanwhile, the makers have dropped a quirky promo video that sees a lot of celebrities including Sonakshi Sinha, Rajkummar Rao, Anurag Kashyap and others talking ill of Madan Kumar, a vital character of the series, and praising the same person in the same time.

The promo begins with the celebs chanting Madan Kumar's (played by Aparshakti) name with different emotions. Moving on, the montage introduces Madan and a background voice explains, "Madan Kumar, the world knows about his journey. From a simple servant to the biggest superstar of the country. Let's meet the person behind the stardom."

Himesh Reshammiya enters the video and talks about Madan Kumar. At first, he calls him his brother, his best, while later he cusses him. Post that, Sonakshi mentions that she was about to make a film named Don Ki Dulhan Fobara with the superstar, but that film never happened, because Madan Kumar decided to replace her with his own girlfriend.

Moving on, Anurag also explains how the now superstar used to aspiring actors and used to beg for even a small role. "Now when I call him, he says that he is busy with Motwane so he doesn't have a date for him, "adds the filmmaker. 

Apart from them Malaika Arora, Milind Soman and Rajkummar Rao also cuss and speak ill of Madan Kumar. Meanwhile, the makers dropped the latest video with a quirky caption, just like the Bollywood celebs that reads, "Jubilee's Madan Kumar is the man of the hour! Sonakshi Sinha, Rajkumar Rao, Anurag Kashyap, Baba Sehgal, Milind Soman, Himesh Reshammiya, and Malaika are applauding Aparshakti Khurana for his astonishing performance. (sic)."

Sidhant Gupta, Wamiqa Gabbi and Nandish Sandhu also add to the star cast of the show, which is now streaming on Prime Video. Meanwhile, Jubilee Part 2 will premiere on April 14.
