Jug Jugg Jeeyo's The Punjaabban song: Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani set the dance floor on fire

As promised, the makers of Jug Jugg Jeeyo have unveiled a new track from the film in the form of The Punjaabban song. A celebratory track from start to finish, the song showcases the film’s stellar cast put on their dancing shoes and try to match the spirited track’s fire.

The setting of the music video hints at a grand celebration taking place and Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor dance their hearts out. Their colourful outfits seem to be a perfect fit to the picturesque setting and peppy Punjabi beats as well.

The track has been sung by Gippy Grewal, Zahrah S Khan, Tanishk Bagchi and Romy. Tanishk Bagchi and Abrar Ul Haq have penned the lyrics to the song. The latter had recently raised the allegation that the makers had used his song Nach Punjaban in the film, without obtaining the licence to the same, and threatened legal action. The makers had replied stating that they indeed had rights to the song.

The upcoming film, which also stars Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli in pivotal roles, is directed by Raj Mehta. Anurag Singh, Sumit Bhateja and Rishhabh Sharrma have penned the film’s screenplay and dialogues. Jug Jugg Jeeyo features Neetu Kapoor’s return to the big screen after almost a decade. Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Karan Johar have produced the film under the banner of Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo will be released in theatres on June 24, 2022.
