Junaid Khan might have made his big-screen acting debut with Loveyapa, but do you know that his story was actually an Aamir Khan film? Yes, Junaid has revealed that he was once diagnosed with dyslexia and that turned out to be the inspiration behind Aamir's movie Taare Zameen Par. Co-incidentally Aamir will make his acting comeback with a spiritual sequel of the movie, currently titled Sitaare Zameen Par.

Junaid Khan reveals Taare Zameen Par was inspired by his own story

In an interview that is now going viral on Reddit, Junaid Khan was heard spilling that he was diagnosed with dyslexia in his childhood. He was fortunate enough to have parents Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta who understood his struggles and gave him the required support. It is when he himself mentioned Taare Zameen Par, a film that had the very concept at its core. Darsheel Safary played the role of the dyslexic child Ishaan Awasthi in the movie, while Aamir played the art teacher Ram Shankar Nikumbh who was the only support for the lonely child.

Interestingly, Aamir took a break from acting since the Laal Singh Chaddha box office debacle and decided to make his acting comeback with a spiritual sequel to his 2007 film. Titled Sitaare Zameen Par, the movie is a sports drama adapted from the Spanish film Campeones. Sitaare Zameen Par, scheduled for Christmas release this year, brings Darsheel back with Genelia D'souza Deshmukh as the female lead opposite Aamir Khan.

Junaid Khan's acting debut(s)

Junaid Khan had made his acting debut with the Netflix film Maharaja. He is now seen in his big-screen debut through Loveyapa. Interestingly, the recently released film also marks Khushi Kapoor's big-screen debut (even she made her acting debut through Netflix's The Archies). Currently, the movie is struggling to hold up at the box office, given the craze for Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release.
