Kaa theatrical release date - Andrea Jeremiah’s long-awaited thriller Kaa will finally arrive in theatres on March 29. The makers of the film took to their social media handles to announce the exciting update of the film. Sharing the announcement poster, actress Andrea wrote, “#Ka #comingsoon (sic)”. Written and directed by Nanjil, the movie will see Andrea in the role of a wildlife photographer.

The much-delayed Kaa, that was first announced in 2018, was shot extensively in thick forests. The adventure thriller will have the actress essaying the role of a wildlife photographer. The two trailers, which were released earlier, showcase a series of bizarre killings, carried out by a man named Victor Mahadevan. Andrea is seen stuck in the forest and is trying to find a way to prevent him from killing the people.
Andrea had earlier revealed that the film is something ‘out of her comfort zone’. Although the trailer features vague shots of the film, it can be safely assumed that the movie promises an enthralling thriller experience and fans are eager to witness Andrea’s performance on the big screens!
No songs in Kaa film
Earlier, director Nenjil had revealed that there will be no songs in the adventure thriller, so as to maintain the intense mood of the film. “It was actually our music director Amrish’s idea not to have songs. Since the script is very intense, he said there’s no scope for songs in the film. He also said that the serious tone of the film doesn't require any songs as its impact will be diluted,” the director revealed. “Instead of songs, the focus will be kept on the background score to enhance the overall viewing experience of the film,” he added.
Delayed release of Kaa
Ka, which was announced in 2018, went through several postponements before finally announcing its release date. Although the film was initially planned to be released in 2019, the movie could not be released due to production issues, and had to be kept on hold.
In the meantime, the actress starred in films such as Vishwaroopam 2, Vada Chennai, Putham Pudhu Kaalai, Sadhana, Master and Aranmanai 3. Andrea was last seen in Venkatesh-starrer Saindhav.
