Kaalam Oru Dhrogi: Nayanthara looks intense in this intriguing promo video from Vasanth's Rocky

The hype surrounding Vasanth Ravi-starrer Rocky has been escalating with the makers unveiling new promos and videos. The other day, they released its trailer which raised the expectations among film buffs. Now, they have come up with a one-minute promo video featuring none other than Nayanthara.

The actress looks quite intense in it; sporting an all-black outfit, she appears bruised but brave in it. She also wields a hammer and is seen hitting someone quite violently accompanied by hard-hitting lyrics by Madhan Karky and splendid cinematography by Shreeyas Krishna. The entire video has been shot in a large room of a dilapidated building. 

Vasanth plays the protagonist in this action thriller which has been directed by Arun Matheswaran. The movie, which also stars Bharathiraaja, Rohini and Raveena Ravi in key characters, will hit the screens on December 23. Darbuka Siva has composed music for the project which has editing by Nagooran. 

Dinesh Subbarayan has composed fight sequences for the film which has art direction by Ramu Thangaraj. The movie's story revolves around a violent youngster who faced severe identity crisis after he was separated from his family. What made him resort to violence forms the crux of the story.

Interestingly, Rocky is produced by Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara under their production banner Rowdy Pictures. The film, which has been in the making for a while, is the second film of Vasanth, who made his debut with Ram's acclaimed movie Taramani (streaming on Netflix) which released in 2017.

Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal, starring Nayanthara, along with Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi, directed by Vignesh, is another project which is being produced by the production house. Connect, starring Nayanthara, Sathyaraj and Anupam Kher, is also being bankrolled by them.
