Despite the criticism and trolling, director R Chandru is determined to make Kabzaa 2 . But, the question is whether we are ready to watch the movie given that we are still reeling from the migraine triggered by Kabzaa 1. Even if he makes Kabzaa 2, what will be the story? Unlike the ending of KGF: Chapter 1, we are not aware of the trajectory of the story. We don't know what the motivation of the hero in Kabzaa is or have a slight idea of the challenges he will have to overcome before emerging victorious in the end.

For example, at the end of KGF 1, we knew the second part will explore the turf war in the aftermath of Rocky killing Garuda. And Rocky's actions freed Adheera from the promise he had made to his elder brother. With Garuda out of the equation, Adheera was free to pursue his ambition of ceasing the control of the Kolar gold mines. At the same time, there were also other players who nurtured the desire to become the lords of the mines. And these variables created a perfect set-up for a high-octane power struggle. And we were eager to find out how Rocky will handle these challenges.

And at the end of Baahubali 1, we were shocked when Kattappa killed Baahubali. And we waited for Baahubali 2 with bated breath to find the answer to the million-dollar question: why Kattappa killed Baahubali? And why should we anticipate Kabzaa 2?

Upendra's Arkeshwara has no redeeming quality. Or his character has no traits that we find appealing. He has no strong personality for us to become his fans. In that case, why should we look forward to Kabzaa 2? Even the die-hard fans of the stars in the movie may struggle to answer it. Maybe Chandru can answer that.

Kabzaa is replete with plot contrivances and illegible narrative moments. It lacks clear motivations for the character and most of the things that play out in the movie fall beyond the line of believability. This film is a long stream of senseless violence. The movie never manages to connect with the audience at any level.

Chandru needs to realize that to make a good movie, he needs to have a well-crafted story that will engage the audience. The story should be compelling, and the characters should have depth. He should also pay attention to character development and ensure that the characters have strong motivations and challenges to overcome. Kabzaa 2, when made, will have to offer something fresh to the audience. The filmmakers will have to break away from the influence of KGF and create an original story that can stand on its own.

If Chandru aspires to turn Kabzaa into a franchise, he should start by fixing the origin story. And that means 'Kabzaa Reloaded'. Maybe if he does a good job, then we can psychologically prepare for Kabzaa 2. But as the way things stand now, Chandru needs a miracle to convince the audience to give him a second chance.
