Malayalam cinema is not just known for making artistically-minded movies. Among the contemporary actors, Basil Joseph is establishing himself as one of the top choices to headline a feel-good movie in Malayalam cinema.
His previous movie Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham is one such film. Set against the backdrop of Covid-induced lockdown, the movie chronicles the struggles of common people, who try to cope with the new reality. Judging from the trailer, however, it's safe to assume that Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham is more serious in its tone and theme compared to Basil Joseph's previous movies.

Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham is helmed by debutant Muhashin and scripted by Puzhu writer Harshad. Besides Basil Joseph, the movie also stars Swati Das Prabhu, Binu Pappu, Fara Shibla, Jaffer Idukki, Indrans and Abhiram Radhakrishnan in pivotal roles.

Even though the movie garnered positive reviews , Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham didn't make a dent at the box office.
Basil Joseph, however, has nothing to worry about as he has a lot of things going for him. He began his career in Malayalam cinema by directing movies. He made a splash across the country with movies like #Home and Minnal Murali. And how he is also fast establishing himself as a bankable actor with movies like Jan-e-Man and Palthu Janwar. His earlier movie aya Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey was both a critical and a commercial success.
Basil Joseph will also soon start working on a sequel to Minnal Murali, starring Tovino Thomas in the lead.
