Prithviraj-starrer Kaduva, directed by Shaji Kailas, is all set for a theatrical release on June 30. The team had released the movie's teaser last year, providing a glimpse into the actor's character and the genre of the film. They have now come up with another teaser offering a sneak peek into the movie's plot.

Prithvi essays the role of Kaduvakkunnel Kuruvachan, an arrogant businessman settled in a high-range area in Kerala, who lives life on his own terms. His pompous life turns topsy-turvy when he locks horns with a senior cop (Vivek Oberoi) who takes charge in the jurisdiction where Kuruvachan aka Kurian lives.

The one-minute trailer showcases the enmity between the two central characters of Kaduva which has been bankrolled by Supriya Menon and Listin Stephen under the banner of Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames respectively. The fight sequences choreographed by Kanal Kannan and Mafia Sasi is one aspect which stands out in the trailer.

Abinandhan Ramanujam has handled cinematography for the project which has editing by Shameer Muhammed. Jakes Bejoy and Mohandas have handled music direction and art direction respectively for Kaduva which has screenplay by Jinu V Abhraham.

The film marks Shaji Kailas' return to Malayalam cinema after almost a decade. Ginger, starring Jayaram in the lead role which was released in 2013, was his last Mollywood outing. Kaduva also marks the reunion of the director with Prithviraj after Simhasanam which was released in 2012.

Malayalam movie lovers are curious to know if Shaji can weave magic again with his fast-paced making and stylish presentation of action scenes. It's been a decade-and-a-half since the filmmaker, who was once considered the most sought-after action movie director, has scored a hit at the box office. He has completed the shooting of his next project, Mohanlal-starrer Alone, too.
