Kaiyum Kalavum release date: When and where to watch this quirky Tamil series presented by Karthik Subbaraj

Filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj, who has bankrolled many projects, is ready with a web series which has him as its showrunner. Titled Kaiyum Kalavum, it has been written and directed by Roju, and features a bevy of young talented actors.

Sanchana Natrajan, Rohit, Madonna Sebastian, Ramya Nambessan, Senthil, Karu Palaniyappan and Vivek Prasanna among others play key roles in the series which has cinematography by Sandeep K Vijay. Manikandan B and Radha Sridhar have edited the project which has background score composed by Sundaramurthy KS. Its story revolves around the lives of two youngsters who hail from different backgrounds. 

How fate brings them together at regular intervals and how several people from different walks of life play important roles in their lives form the major crux of the plot. Billed as a multi-genre project, Roju plays one of the lead roles in it, too, apart from helming it. 

Kaiyum Kalavum will drop on SonyLIV on November 4. The OTT platform had earlier announced the series, but without a release date and an official update on its cast and crew. 

According to Karthik, the project is an eccentric narrative of two different people who get to know each other when they meet during unexpected circumstances. A bunch of young talents coming together is the highlight of Kaiyum Kalavum, he added. 

The intriguing characters and the manner in which their respective stories unfold are two factors which are likely to engage the viewers, say the makers. Kaiyum Kalavum is the third Tamil series to drop on SonyLIV this year after Meme Boys and Tamil Rockerz.
