We had earlier reported that Kamal Haasan’s next film will be directed by stunt coordinator duo AnbAriv. With the film produced by Kamal Haasan himself, the makers unveiled the technical crew of the project. Notably, Jakes Bejoy who recently scored for the Malayalam blockbuster Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, will be composing music for the Kamal Haasan project as well.

Kamal Haasan is celebrating his birthday on November 7, Friday. One of the major updates to drop for the occasion, includes the technical crew of his upcoming film. Kamal Haasan will be banking his next film, which will have stunt coordinators AnbAriv as directors in their debut. Notably, the duo has worked as stunt masters in films like Vikram, Jailer and KGF.
The AnbAriv project will have music scored by Jakes Bejoy, who had notably made a blockbuster recently with the Malayalam film Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra. It will be the first time for the composer to be working with Kamal Haasan.
Apart from Jakes Bejoy, others of technical crew have also been revealed. Sunil KS is the cinematographer and Shemeen KM is editor. Vinesh Banlan is the production designer. Earlier, it was announced that Syam Pushkaran is onboard as writer, but the latest post from makers do not mention his name. Further announcements on the project are to be made in the coming months.
Kamal Haasan to produce Rajinikanth’s next
Only a couple of days later, it was announced that Kamal Haasan will be producing Rajinikanth’s next, Thalaivar 173. The film is directed by Sundar C, and aims for a theatrical release in Pongal 2027. While it is not yet known if Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan will share the screen space, but the latest announcement has given something to the fans to look forward to.
