Kamal Haasan unveils the promo of the much-awaited Bigg Boss Tamil 5

Kamal Haasan, who has Vikram and Indian 2 in his kitty, has come up with a short promo of Bigg Boss Tamil 5, which is slated to stream soon on Disney+ Hotstar, leaving fans of his and the show delighted. The 20-second teaser has him in his stylish best. Dressed in a blazer and a denim jeans, and sporting a cool beard, he is seen standing inside a well-decorated room. 

The promo begins with the Ulaganayagan staring at the camera, with Anirudh's music from Vikram playing in the background. He then grins and asks, Aarambikalama (the popular catch phrase from Vikram's teaser), followed by pointing his fingers towards the logo of Bigg Boss which then appears at the right side of the frame.

The show is expected to begin from October and fans have already started speculating the names of the contestants on social media. The fifth season of the reality show in Tamil, which was supposed to go on air in June, was postponed due to the second wave which hit the country badly. The previous season, which had Aari Arjunan as its winner, commenced on October 2020 and ended on January 2021. Shivani Narayanan, Ramya Pandian, Sanam Shetty and Jithan Ramesh were a few contestants from the fourth season who garnered support from the audience.   

The first season of the Bigg Boss Tamil was aired on 2017 with close to 100 episodes, whereas the next three seasons had 106 episodes each. Arav Nafeez, Riythvika, Mugen Rao were the winners of the first three seasons respectively. Earlier this year, there were speculation that Kamal will not return as the host for the reality show, and that makers will surprise the viewers with a new host for the fifth season, after the star forayed into politics. But the teaser has proved otherwise and his fans have taken to social media saying that they can't wait to see him on the show.
