It is known that Kamal Haasan and Mollywood director Mahesh Narayanan are teaming up for a project. Earlier, there were reports that the movie is likely to be a sequel to the blockbuster Thevar Magan (streaming on YouTube), which had the former in the lead.

Though there is no confirmation on the same yet, another news doing the rounds now is the addition of two powerhouse performers in the film. The names of Vikram and Vijay Sethupathi have surfaced pertaining to playing pivotal roles in the project. Fans of all the three actors are overjoyed with the speculation, though it is too early to celebrate the unconfirmed news.

The director also has Phantom Hospital in Hindi and is said to direct Fahadh Faasil again for an anthology in Malayalam. The Malik (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) duo had met Kamal Haasan after the film's release earlier this year, and the picture of the trio had gone viral then.

The news of Kamal teaming up with Mahesh was out later, leaving fans of the former into a tizzy. Mahesh was also the editor of Ulaganayagan's most-anticipated release of the last decade, Vishwaroopam (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar).

As if this is not enough, the grapevine has it that Kamal himself will be penning the screenplay of the movie which will bring together Vikram and Vijay Sethupathi. Sethupathi is currently playing one of the antagonists in Kamal-starrer Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Vikram played the lead in Kadaram Kondan (streaming on Amazon Prime Video), which was produced by Kamal's home banner Raaj Kamal Films International in 2019.
