SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures had announced its next project through the producer's Twitter account a few months ago. The bilingual which has been shot in Tamil and Telugu was titled as Oke Oka Jeevitham in Telugu, but the makers hadn't revealed its Tamil title. The movie, the first look of which was released earlier, stars Sharwanand and Ritu Varma in lead roles.
Amala Akkineni will also be playing a pivotal role in the film which has been directed by Shree Karthick. At the time of its announcement, she had expressed the excitement of working in the movie and said she can't wait for its first look to release. The project marks the return of the senior actress to Kollywood after three decades. She was last seen in Manam and Karwaan in Tollywood and Bollywood respectively.
The production house's last two outings, Kaithi and Sulthan, starring Karthi in the lead, also had simultaneous releases in Telugu. Ramesh Thilak and Sathish, too, will be seen in important roles in Kanam while Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi Pulikonda are expected to play their roles in Oke Oka Jeevitham. Sujith Sarang is the cinematographer for the film which has music by Jakes Bijoy and stunt by Sudesh Kumar. The makers of the project, which is said to be based on the concept of time travel, is currently busy with its post production.
Sharwanand, who shot to fame in Kollywood with Engeyum Eppodhum, is ready with Maha Samudram, which will hit the screens on October 14. Ritu Varma, on the other hand, was last seen in Tuck Jagdish which premiered on Amazon Prime Video. Her last Tamil release was the anthology Putham Pudhu Kaalai, which also had a premiere on the same streaming platform. Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal was her last theatrical release which released a month before the first lockdown.
