What is the scam all about?

The Enforcement Directorate took notice of an extravagant wedding that took place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in February. The event, held in Ras Al-Khaimah, drew attention as the entire expenditure, amounting to around Rs 200 crore, was reportedly paid in cash. Sourabh Chandrakar, a promoter of the Mahadev Online Book Betting app, organized the wedding and went to the extent of hiring private jets to transport family members from Nagpur to the UAE. Additionally, he allegedly paid Indian film industry celebrities to perform at the event, as per the Enforcement Directorate's findings.

Investigation in the case is underway.
