Starring Kangana Ranaut, the film delves into the lives of the blue-collar labourers and working class who shape our nation. According to reports in the Bombay Times, the makers reached out to the actor because she has a reputation for choosing unconventional projects and venturing into uncharted narrative territory. This film will provide Kangana another platform to showcase her well-documented talent for inhabiting multi-layered personalities.

Meanwhile, Kangana is preparing for the September 6, 2024, release of her full-fledged directorial debut, Emergency, based on the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The actor plays the leading role in the film. However, Emergency currently faces a postponement.
