The movie helmed by P Vasu marks her return to Kollywood after Thalaivii

Kangana, who plays the titular role in P Vasu's Chandramukhi 2, has penned a heartfelt note on her Instagram page as she completes her portions today. The actress, who is returning to Kollywood with the movie after Thalaivii, also posted a couple of pictures with Raghava Lawrence, who plays the lead in the project.
She said that it's difficult to say goodbye to the many wonderful people and lovely crew she had all these days. She went on to heap praises on the Kanchana star and remembered that the duo never clicked pics together.
Kangana said that she has been inspired by his long journey. Her post read, "He started his career as a choreographer actually as a back dancer but today he is not only a blockbuster filmmaker / superstar but also an incredibly lively, kind and wonderful human being (sic)."
She acknowledged having a gala time working with the choreographer-actor-filmmaker and thanked him for his kindness, amazing sense of humour and all the gifts he gifted her for her birthday. Her fans expressed excitement at the unexpected post from their favourite star and said they are waiting for the film.
Chandramukhi 2, which is being bankrolled by Lyca Productions, is likely to hit the screens this year. Netflix has bagged the project's digital rights sometime ago. Radhika Sarathkumar, Mahima Nambiar and Vadivelu among others will be seen essaying key roles in this horror-comedy.
Rajsekar has cranked the camera for the movie which marks Vasu's return to Tamil after Shivalinga which was the first collaboration between the director and Lawrence. The project will be Lawrence's second outing in 2023 after Rudhran which is set for a release on April 14.
