Kanguva actor Suriya offers condolences to the families of fans who died due to electric shock

The glimpse of Kanguva might have set the internet on fire, but what left a sour taste in the mouth is the demise of two young fans, Venkatesh and Sai, who succumbed to electrical, while erecting a flex board of Suriya in Andhra Pradesh during the birthday celebrations of the actor (July 23). The latest we hear is that Suriya has contacted the families of the fans and offered his condolences through a video call. He has also assured that he would provide them any kind of help that they needed.

 In the meantime, the glimpse of Kanguva, has hit 22 million views in a span of 24 hours. This is said to be one of the highest hits for a day's time and the video continues to be one of the most watched ones on the internet. The video's background score, too, is receiving some heavy-duty praise.

The film's music composer Devi Sri Prasad had stated that it has been a tremendous pleasure working with the actor. Taking to his social media handle, Devi Sri Prasad wrote, "HAPPIEST MUSICAL BIRTHDAY dearest @Suriya_offlsirrr !!!Wishing U Blockbusters always n keep entertaining us forever with ur Ultimate Passion sir !!Its always tremendous pleasure working with U sir You as Kanguva is Amazingly Brilliant sir & ThankU all 4 ur Terrific Response for #Kanguvaglimpse (sic)."

The video introduces us to a battlefield from where Kanguva, the son of spirit and god, rises from the flames to save his people. Suriya's dialogue 'Nalama' has already become a rage on the internet.

There is a buzz that Bollywood star Bobby Deol will be playing the antagonist in the film and that the shoot for the portions are likely to begin next month in Bangkok. An official confirmation is awaited. Nataraj Subramaniam aka Natty plays yet another villain in the film, which is helmed by Siva and has Disha Patani as the leading lady.
