Despite this pressure, the protagonist appears to have earned enough acclaim to be celebrated in the songs of his forefathers.

The filmmakers have revealed that Kanguva is the most ambitious project in the careers of directors Siva and Suriya, and it also marks Suriya's most expensive production to date.

Kanguva stars Disha Patani as the female lead. And the filmmakers are yet to reveal her character look in the movie. 

The production of Kanguva is fast nearing completion and it's set to arrive in cinemas early next year.
