It looks like the makers of Ponniyin Selvan do not want to leave any stone unturned when it comes to promotions. The team, which went for a promotional tour in Trivandrum, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi, has now surprised movie buffs by releasing a picture from the popular The Kapil Sharma Show event.

Vikram, Karthi, Trisha and Jayam Ravi were present in the show, and they were seen posing for a photo with Kapil and other members of the show excitedly. Kamal Haasan's Vikram was the last Tamil movie which attended the show as part of promotions.

Among all actors of Ponniyin Sevan who attended the event, Kapil Sharma seems to have been smitten by Trisha's presence and grace. He took to his Instagram page to share a couple of photos in which he is seen happily posing with her.

He posted, "my reaction when I met this beautiful girl" and added hashtags like #thekapilsharmashow #trisha #trishakrishnan and #ps1. He also started following the actress on the social media page. Trisha's fans have been sharing the picture featuring their matinee idol and Kapil on social media.

Fans are now eager to know when the episode featuring the Ponniyin Selvan team will be telecast. They are also looking forward to similar surprises from makers. With today's Delhi tour, promotional visits for the team have come to an end. With three more days left for the movie to release, film lovers are wondering if makers would participate in another set of promotions in Chennai.

The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on September 30. The second installment of the big budget project is expected to hit the screens after seven months.
