Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is celebrating his 55th birthday today (April 2). Since this morning, the actor has been showered with special wishes and love in abundance. Right from his wife Kajol to director Om Raut and several of his colleagues have extended good wishes to Ajay on his special day. One among them is Bade Miyan Chote Miyan actor Akshay Kumar who gave a unique 'Maidaan' twist to his birthday note for Ajay.

Akshay Kumar took to his official X account and penned a few good lines for his fellow actor Ajay Devgn, who will next be seen in Maidaan. Ajay's wife, Kajol, was among the first ones to dedicate a special birthday post to him. The actress shared her husband's photo on Instagram and captioned it, "Since I know ur soooooo excited about ur birthday that ur jumping up and down like a kid and clapping ur hands and turning in circles at the thought of your cake … lemme start the day off by wishing u a very very very happy birthday (sic)."
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan-Maidaan box office clash
Both Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn have their films lined up for theatrical release on Eid 2024. Akshay will be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Tiger Shroff, while Ajay plays the lead role in Amit Sharma's Maidaan with Priyamani. Their films will hit the big screen on April 10, 2024. Needless to say, only one film out of the two will lead the box office race.
On the work front, Ajay's last theatrical release was Vikas Bahl's Shaitaan, in which he starred alongside R Madhavan and Jyothika. The film emerged as a box-office winner and one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year so far.
