The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Karakkam, has revealed its first poster today (July 7). They have also unveiled the details of the cast and crew of the movie, which is touted to be a fun-filled horror comedy drama.

It has been confirmed that Sreenath Bhasi will be playing the lead in this upcoming project, along with Femina George, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Sidharth Bharathan, Jean Lal, Manikandan Achari, Bijukuttan, Midhutty, Praveen TJ and Shaun Romy in supporting parts. Subhash Lalitha Subramanian is directing this horror comedy, which is bankrolled by Kimberly Trinidade and Ankush Singh under the banners of Black Turtle Productions and Krown Stars Entertainment. The soundtracks and background score are being composed by Sam CS. The director, along with Nipin Narayan and Arjun Narayan have penned the dialogues and screenplay for the movie, which is said to have some visually-appealling frightening sequences by the makers.
The poster shows a van entering into a cemetary hinting at the film's genre. The cast and crew of the movie shared the poster on their social media pages with the tagline- 'spinning through fear and fun'. More details on the film, including a theatrical release date, are anticipated in the coming days.

The young star's recent film, Azadi, is now streaming on Manorama Max. This prison break thriller's Tamil version can be found on OTTplay Premium and Sun NXT. The film was praised for its complex plot and the main actors' nuanced performances.
At the heart of Azadi is Ganga, a pregnant prisoner who was sent to a medical college to give birth. Her husband, Raghu, and father, Shivan, a former goon, plan her escape from prison. When police officers find out about their plan, unexpected challenges arise. The main focus of the film is an intense battle in the hospital. Sreenath's other line-up of films include Namukku Kodathiyil Kaanam, Unlock and Dhuniyavinte Orattathu.
