Karan Johar all set to direct Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff? Says report

Yesterday, we had reported about a news which stated that the prolific film maker Karan Johar’s production company Dharma Productions had taken to social media and posted a rather cryptic clue of sorts. The said post had a chair, which had the term ‘Director’ written on it in bold letters. It also stated, Karan Johar- Another era begins, stay tuned’. The post was captioned ‘The chair is about to be filled 7 years later. A grand celebration awaits. Stay tuned, we'll see you tomorrow! #25On25”.

But the very moment the announcement was made, it not only sent many into a frenzy of sorts, but also gave birth to many speculations which ranged from the first look of ‘Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani’ to the post being the hint at Salman Khan’s most awaited film, about which he spoke in the Rajat Sharma-hosted chat show ‘Aap Ki Adaaalat’. Well, it seems that the speculations can now be put to rest. The reason? Well… as per a news report in Bollywood Hungama, the cryptic clue was all about Karan Johar being all set to direct Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff in an all-action film.

The source-based news report in the portal stated that, with this so-far-untitled film, Karan Johar is wanting to try his hand in directing an action film. Karan Johar, who has always been associated with mushy romantic and larger than life films which had grandeur as their middle name, now, wants to try his hand in directing an action film. As we said, the above news piece was based on mere speculation as till now (at the time of uploading), there has been no confirmation or announcement about the hush-hush film that is going to be directed by Karan Johar.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar is busy with the direction of his most-awaited multi-starrer film ‘Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani’, which stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt along with the veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi in all-important roles.
