“I think Geet will always be special to everyone because you have never really seen a character who is so honest, so loving—a girl who wants to chase her dreams," Kareena said while reminiscing about her character.

Why Geet resonates with the audience

Sharing more about the charisma of the character, Kareena explained that Geet is someone who transcends generations as she inspires people to be like her. "Geet, in a way, was aspirational and inspirational, and everyone wanted to be her or be like her. She is evergreen for generations and all times, and Geet will always be in me. Jab We Met is like a hot, nice meal or garam dal chawal on a rainy day, and that's what Jab We Met will always be,” she added.

The Jaane Jaan actress also revealed that Jab We Met was one of those unexpected films of her career that she did not anticipate doing so well at the box office, but it turned out to be a surprise to her when it came out as a blockbuster.
