Karm Yuddh starring Paoli Dam, Satish Kaushik, Ashutosh Rana, Ankit Bisht, and Pranay Pachauri, among others: there are 8 episodes in the series of approximately 40 minutes each. Kailashnath Adhikari is the producer of the show which was largely filmed in Dharamshala, Goa, and Kolkata. In the miniseries, the conflict within Kolkata's wealthy Roy family is discussed. With over 12 million views on social media, the show's official trailer has also received a favourable reception from viewers.

While Asutosh Rana acknowledged that viewers could find his role in Karm Yuddh gloomy, he also said that he didn't intend for them to. However he went on to say that Guru Shahstri has way too many grey areas in his persona and added, “he is devious, convincing, and, most importantly, has the cover of mystery that other players in Karm Yuddh do not have.”

Currently, Karm Yudh is accessible on Disney+ Hotstar.
