Malayalam film Karnika has begun streaming online from today (June 7), a year after its theatrical release. The thriller is now accessible on Manorama Max and Simply South.
Priyanka Nair plays the lead in the film, which was released on both digital platforms at 12 am on June 7. The movie would be accessible on Simply South to viewers outside of the country. When Karnika was released in theatres in 2024, it did not receive a lot of attention. However, after its OTT release, it is anticipated to receive more recognition that it merits. Recently, Malayalam films such as Big Ben, Hunt, Ouseppinte Osiyathu, Am Ah and Maranamass made it to various OTT platforms. Naslen's sports drama, Alappuzha Gymkhana, will begin streaming on Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium from June 13.
Karnika debuted in theatres on August 23, 2024. The film had a gripping script, yet it received differing opinions following its big screen debut. Priyanka, who most recently starred in Rekhachithram, is well-known for her roles in Kumbasaaram, Vilapangalkkappuram, and Antakshari.
