Suriya has completed 25 years in the industry today; his debut movie Nerukku Ner, in which he acted along with Vijay, was released on September 6 1997. Many fans of the actor and a few celebs have been taking to Twitter to wish the actor on his special day.

Surprisingly, Karthi, too, joined the list by coming up with a heartfelt post to wish his brother, leaving both their fans elated. He also posted an old photo of theirs and their mutual fans are going gaga over the adorable picture.

The emotional tweet has Karthi praising Suriya to the hilt; he said that the latter was keen only on outsmarting himself over the years and that he has been an inspiration by helping many kids unconditionally with various educational facilities.

Karthi's tweet read, "He worked day & night to make his every minus into his greatest plus. He focused only at outperforming his own achievements. As a person, he made his already generous heart even larger and shaped the lives of thousands of deserving kids. That’s my brother!#25YearsOfCultSuriyaism (sic)."

Fans of both Suriya and Karthi have been waiting to see the two of them doing a film together. The former was seen in a brief appearance in the latter's Kadaikutty Singam which was released in 2018. It looks like their wish is likely to come true in Kaithi 2.

Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram had Suriya essaying Rolex and the presence of Karthi's spin-off character Dilli from Kaithi was also acknowledged in the action thriller. Movie buffs hope that either Kaithi 2 or Vikram 2 will bring together both the stars for the first time in full-fledged appearances.
