Karthikeya 2 nets Rs 30 crore from Hindi box office, Nikhil Siddhartha says he will be thankful forever

Chandoo Mondeti's Karthikeya 2 is on a box office rampage, the film which netted Rs 7 lakh on its first day at Hindi box office, went on to surprise the trade as the viewers gave a thumbs up to the movie.

The fantasy thriller, starring Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead, has now netted Rs 30 crores from Hindi box office, and this is one of the best feats ever pulled off by a dubbed movie in the Bollywood market. With the big budget flick Brahmastra hitting screens on Friday, it is expected that Karthikeya 2's run at the box office is almost complete.

An excited Nikhil took to his Twitter page to thank the Hindi viewers once again. He posted a poster of the film which has mentioned about the Rs 30 crore feat and said that he will remain thankful forever to the audience who supported the movie.

Karthikeya 2 is the fifth highest grossing Hindi dubbed project from Telugu after Baahubali 2, Baahubali, RRR and Pushpa. With Pushpa 2 set to go on floors in a few days, it is more or less confirmed that the much-anticipated sequel is likely to replace Karthikeya 2.

Anupam Kher, Anupama Parameswaran, Satya, Tulasi and Srinivasa Reddy play pivotal roles in Karthikeya 2. The first part of the movie was released in 2014 and was a hit at the Telugu box office. Though the second part isn't a proper sequel per se, a few characters which appeared in the first installment essay notable characters in Karthikeya 2 as well.

The Tollywood trade is looking forward to knowing if Nikhil Siddhartha will capitalize on the success of the movie in Hindi market with his forthcoming projects.
