If the buzz on social media is to be believed, the audio launch of Karthi's upcoming film, Japan, is all set to be held on October 28. The event, which will be held on a grand scale, is likely to happen at Nehru Stadium in Chennai. We also hear that Karthi's elder brother Suriya might be part of the event, if he gets free from the shoot of his much-awaited film, Kanguva. An official confirmation on the details is awaited.

Karthi's film based on this person's life?
According to reports, Japan is said to be based on the life of Tiruvarur Murugan, who was the brain behind many robberies in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, including the infamous Lalitha Jewellery store burglary. When the police finally nabbed him, his health was in a pitiable condition as he was also a HIV patient. With the help of police, his health recuperated and soon he lent a helping hand to the police in crimes that involved him. However, he passed away soon after.
