A report on Pinkvilla confirms that Kartik and Luv Ranjan were constantly in talks for a potential collaboration, and have finally found the script. “Luv Ranjan, and Kartik Aaryan have always been discussing a potential collaboration, and there’s finally a script that warrants the union of this duo responsible for as many as three pathbreaking entertainers. The film rolls in 2026 and is presently in the pre-production stage,” a source close to the development told the portal.

Kartik Aaryan-Luv Ranjan's fifth collaboration

Kartik Aaryan and Luv Ranjan had worked on three installments of Pyaar Ka Punchnama. They had then collaborated on Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, after which they explored their individual projects. While Luv worked with Ranbir Kapoor in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (featuring Kartik in a cameo), the actor collaborated with various makers including Kabir Khan and of course, filmmaker Karan Johar (post their public fallout with Dostana 2). Apart from Punchnama, Kartik is now also the face of Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise (which was started with Akshay Kumar).
