After much speculation, Kartik Aaryan has addressed the dating rumours once and for all. The actor has now come clean about his relationship status after months of rumours involving Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Ananya Panday.

The star spoke up to Filmfare about the relentless scrutiny of his private life, especially his love affairs. Recent sightings of him and his 11-year-younger co-star Sreeleela in Gangtok, Sikkim, for filming Aashiqui 3 have sparked rumours linking the two. But Kartik put an end to all that guesswork with an unequivocal declaration.
He stated that he is not in a relationship at the moment. There was a lot of conjecture on his romantic life in the past; some of it was accurate and part of it was not.
Kartik, when asked about the extreme scrutiny, said he was initially terrified that rumours about his romantic life would spread. The actor didn't give it much thought because he was naive to the concept of people associating him romantically with others. Even when he had only just met someone, the media would frequently use a single photo to fabricate stories. It was all quite strange, and he would even receive updates regarding his personal dating life. The star learnt the hard way that he needed to exercise greater caution in future instances like these.
Kartik had an open mind but tempered it with a dose of realism when asked whether he would date someone from the industry. Despite everyone's hectic schedules, he stressed the importance of making time for one another. Actors would have an upper hand when it came to knowing the ins and outs of the industry, but in that case, spending time together wouldn't be easy, so both parties would have to work extra.

He said no one in his family—his uncle, father, sister, or girlfriend—has praised him in print or on set. The source of this news lies elsewhere, and it serves no purpose for him. He concluded by stating that some individuals find it frustrating when people achieve success on their own initiative. They attempt to centre their story around that individual more and more.
