During an interview with Deadline on the outskirts of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, Katrina Kaif expressed last evening that Merry Christmas has been her most challenging film till date. She said, “It was always on my bucket list to work with Vijay sir. I got the opportunity to work with him in ‘Merry Christmas’. He is a phenomenal actor.”

“Must say that Merry Christmas is by far the most difficult film I have ever done. Definitely the character took a lot out of me but the experience surely challenged me as an actor. During the shoot, we have shot the film in Hindi as well as Tamil. So for the Tamil version of the film, I have actually spoken the language. I used to give 2 takes per scene – one in each language. So it was challenging and exciting,” she wrapped up.
