Kaun Banegi Shikharwati: Soha Ali Khan feels gratified about the praise from Naseeruddin Shah

Soha Ali Khan is all set to make her OTT debut with the web series Kaun Banegi Shikharwati and is grateful to be a part of the show for many reasons. She has an emotional scene with the veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, which made her feel overwhelmed as a performer.

She spoke to IANS about how she finds the story interesting along with an ensemble cast. She is keen on every character being important in the series, where she plays one of the princesses, Rajkumari Gayatri. For the unversed, the comedy-drama revolves around an idiotic king and his four daughters. “There are a lot of conflicts going on between my character and Raja Mrityunjay that Naseer Sahab is playing,” she added.

The actress is all happy about the praise she received from the senior actor Shah after an emotional scene. He complimented on how her performance was so on point, the crying being natural and the dialogues spoken as if she meant them. Words from an iconic actor made her feel gratified, according to her.

She went on talking about Shah and said he is an interesting person to work with as he shares tips while working. The actor seems to be easygoing among all generations as he works in theatre as well, where he is mostly surrounded by young minds.

Kaun Banegi Shikharwati features Lara Dutta, Kritika Kamra, Anya Singh, Raghubir Yadav, Cyrus Sahukar, and Varun Thakur, besides Shah and Khan. The series will premiere on ZEE5 on January 7.
