Actor Kavin has become one of the busiest stars in the Tamil film industry. The actor, who delivered commercial success with Dada last year, is part of the industry's young crop of actors. Kavin is currently working with filmmaker Elan on a film titled Star. However, social media is abuzz that his film with choreographer Sathish Krishnan is neared completion. Veteran actor Prabhu will be playing a prominent role in the film.
Kavin 06 nearing completion
Actor Kavin has become one of the busiest stars in the Tamil film industry. He has proven his acting chops by portraying the role of a young and single father through the 2023 romantic drama film Dada. Now, the actor is working with Elan in Star.
However, social media is abuzz that his film with choreographer Sathish is nearing completion. Veteran actor Prabhu will be playing a prominent role in the film. Scores of Kavin fans have been sharing the photo of Prabhu, Sathish and Kavin on social media.
The upcoming film has been rumoured to be titled Kiss, and Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to score music for the film. Preethi Asrani, who was seen in last year's sleeper hit Ayothi, will be playing the female lead in the film.
Kavin’s line-up of films
Kavin, who had his humble beginnings through television series and a Bigg Boss Tamil stint, is currently a young star who enjoys a massive fanbase. The actor, who assisted Nelson Dilipkumar in Beast, is currently starring in Sar. Director Elan of Pyaar Prema Kadhal-fame is helming the project. The film will have two female leads—Aaaditi S Pohankar and Preity Mukhundhan—in this family drama. A release date for Star is yet to be announced. Prime Video has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film.
Meanwhile, as per reports, Kavin's next film after Sathish's is said to be backed by Vetri Maaran, with Vikranan Ashokan set to direct. However, an official confirmation on the same is yet to be announced.
