Somante Krithavu, helmed by Rohith Narayanan and starring Vinay Forrt, has been getting attention lately because of its unique promos and trailer. Keerthy Suresh has just released a new track in the film, Theytharo, sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan. The song features Vinay in a rural setting, living with his mother in a house and engaging in farming to produce vegetables for his home. In one scene, he is seen returning a plastic bag to a woman who brings him eggs, putting them in a basket instead. Vinay's character is a nature lover and lives a sustainable life. He is also looking to get married and seeks proposals through brokers. Vinay effectively portrays the frustration of a person who wants to get hitched. The visuals of the song effectively convey the beauty of the village. The overall visuals of the song resemble the Njanoru Malayali song sung by M Jayachandran in the Jayasurya-starrer film, Jilebi.

Somante Krithavu: Plot, cast and crew

Somante Krithavu, directed by debutant Rohith Narayanan, follows the story of Soman, a concrete worker, played by Vinay Forrt. Fara Shibla, best known for her role in Asif Ali's Kakshi Amminipilla, plays the female lead.

The movie also stars Bipin Chandran, a scriptwriter who has worked on Mammootty's Best Actor and Paavada. Manu Joseph, Jayan Cherthala, Niyas Narmakala, Seema G Nair, and Devanandha, known for their roles in Malikappuram, have significant parts in the film. Going by the trailer and songs, the film is a rustic comedy. Somante Krithavu will be released in theatres on October 6.

Vinay Forrt's upcoming projects

Meanwhile, Vinay's last film to hit theatres was the Nivin Pauly-starrer Ramachandra Boss & Co. Helmed by Mikhael director Haneef Adeni, the action comedy failed to d well at the box office.

Vinay will be seen next in Appan director Maju's film, which also stars Lukman Avaran. Vinay's quirky look for the film recently became viral on the internet.
