The National Award winner is set to make her Bollywood debut with the upcoming action thriller, that stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role. According to the latest reports, Keerthy Suresh is preparing to make her OTT series debut very soon with a new web series that the prestigious production company Yash Raj Films is funding.

According to the latest reports by Pinkvilla, Keerthy Suresh is gearing up to make her OTT series debut soon with the upcoming web series Akka. The eagerly-awaited project, which has yet to have its official launch, also stars celebrated actress Radhika Apte as one of the protagonists. According to reports, Dharmaraj Shetty is the project's director, and senior filmmaker Aditya Chopra is producing it under the Yash Raj Films banner.
As per the updates, Akka started rolling by the beginning of this week after extensive pre-production and preparations that lasted for over 6 months. The project, which is touted to be a ‘deliciously devilish’ period thriller, will feature Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte in the roles of arch-rivals. However, it is official that Akka will be one of Yash Raj Films' biggest tentpole web series ever.
The makers are planning to keep the further details of the show under wraps until they finish shooting for the major portions of the series. If things go as planned, Akka will get a grand official launch once director Dharmaraj Shetty and the team are fully ready. The details of the rest of the star cast and technical crew of the show are yet to be revealed.

The talented actress will be next seen in Siren, the upcoming sports drama, alongside Jayam Ravi and Anupama Parameshwaran. Keerthy Suresh has also wrapped up the shootings of her upcoming Tamil projects, Kannivedi, Revolver Rita, and Raghu Thatha. She is making her OTT debut soon with the upcoming Varun Dhawan starrer, which is tentatively titled VD 18. The project, which is produced by Atlee, will hit theatres in the summer of 2024.
